I ordered this dress in Gold/Xl basing my size choice on my largest determination (bust) and while the waist fit perfectly, the bust was entirely too large. So large, in fact, that the approved "you can alter up to 2 sizes worth" wasn't near enough. I ended up returning it rather than bother with alterations. Such a shame too, its a beautiful dress.
